Electric Glue appoints digital duo to the senior team

Electric Glue: Charlie Ashe, Pippa Glucklich and Sean Longstaff

Electric Glue has brought in digital media consultants Sean Longstaff and Charlie Ashe to join its senior team.

Longstaff takes on the role of digital product director and Ashe becomes director of data. Both positions have been newly created for the digital duo as part of the independent media agency’s in-sourcing model.

The pair will be responsible for developing products that adhere to Electric Glue’s strategic mission of “glueing the funnel together”. This involves helping clients at both ends of the funnel from brand-building to lower funnel purchase-activation.

Longstaff and Ashe will report to chief executive Pippa Glucklich and work closely with head of digital Tim Bonney.

Longstaff has previously worked as global performance lead at Mindshare and growth director at MailOnline. During his career, he has worked with clients including Nike, Booking.com and HSBC to build their D2C brands.

Ashe is a founder of CWA Consulting, which helps clients optimise their performance in tech and data-led advertising. Prior to establishing CWA in 2019, he worked for Ad-Lib Digital and Pocket Media.

The duo spent over two years working together at VE Interactive in the digital teams, between 2014 and 2016.

Glucklich said: “We’ve been working with Sean and Charlie on a project basis for over a year now. Formalising that relationship as part of our in-sourcing model will further strengthen the expertise we can offer clients.”
