Pippa Glucklich to become chair of #TimeTo in 2024
Pippa Glucklich, chief executive of Electric Glue, has been named chair of TimeTo, taking over the role in the new year.
Glucklich said her mission is to ensure senior leaders take the issue of sexual harassment seriously and that people take more personal responsibility.
She is taking over the role from Kerry Glazer, chair of AAR and Untold Studios and past president of Wacl and Nabs, who has been chair of TimeTo since 2019.
Glucklich will focus on communication, including ensuring the right industry structures are in place, leaders have the tools and means to implement the training and support materials offered by TimeTo into businesses seamlessly, as well as making people aware of their individual responsibilities as members of the advertising and marketing industries.
Glucklich said: “Kerry has been an incredible chair and made an exceptional contribution to maintain TimeTo’s relevance in combating sexual harassment within the advertising and marketing sector. She is a very hard act to follow.
“My first responsibility, as should be the case when you’re following on from someone as inspirational as Kerry, will be continuity. But I’m also aware that we must ready ourselves for the challenges of 2024. Continued pressures on margins and ongoing economic difficulties will no doubt play a key part in the industry’s focus, but I urge all leaders to keep this issue and TimeTo’s mission front of mind.”
Glazer steered TimeTo through several campaigns including its Endorser toolkit, a package of resources designed to provide tailored information to help companies embed TimeTo, alongside training programmes, which have so far resulted in 96 companies and 6,601 individuals being trained.
Glazer was involved in campaigns including "Where do you draw the line?" by Lucky Generals, designed to make the industry aware of behaviour during crucial times such as Christmas parties and the return to offices once coronavirus lockdowns ended.
She said: “It’s been a privilege and a pleasure to work with such a passionately committed and hardworking team, especially when the reward for those efforts has been the delivery of genuine positive impact. The most significant reward for everyone involved with TimeTo is witnessing genuine behaviour change.
“Pippa will be magnificent in her new role, inspiring the team, injecting new energy and driving campaign momentum. [She] has been a committed, determined and vocal member of the TimeTo steering committee since 2019, and I can think of no one better to lead the campaign into its next phase.”
